We counted 41 species this weekend, which is one more than last weekend, but 
well below our best for this time of year.  Yesterday was a mess, with 
wind-blown drizzle, literally all day.  The weather was perfect today, but I 
couldn’t make up for yesterday’s washout.   I included today’s eBird list 
below, which includes photos.
Today’s highlight included a flock of at least 30 Cedar Waxwings that I watched 
gather to roost in a still-heavily-leafed dogwood, in the thicket.  I also 
spotted the Shrike in the same fencerow where I’ve seen it recently.   
There were many Killdeer, on the ground in the eastern fields visible any time 
I looked, and we counted 4 Red-tails, 5 including the Harlan’s.
