Sorry, I don't think the TIFF I made from your raw file is going to be
of any use, looks like ACR doesn't do linear output... So comparing
both TIFFs doesn't say anything unfortunately...
Looking at this pdf
(http://www.adobe.com/digitalimag/pdfs/linear_gamma.pdf) it looks like
your linear tiff is actually as expected...
