 Enter following similar to 
 below    
 in arachne.cfg  
   
 [profile]  
 Profile litelan   <- unneeded unless you 
 have saved arachne.cfg to a profile file  
 Connection READY  
 Hangup NUL  
   
 [tcp/ip]  
 IP_Address 192.168.1.102  Â  <- static ip 
 address  
 IP_Grab IP address set to  
 NameServer use yours  
 AltNameServer use yours  
 Gateway 192.168.1.1   <- address of 
 router, some routers use 0.1 instead of 1.1 at end  
 AltGateway 0.0.0.0  
 Netmask 255.255.255.0  
 TCPconfig PPPrtr.CFG  
   
  Try above and report what occurs.  
 
I've made the changes according to your instructions. I have recieved "Unable 
to initialize TCP/IP" 
I received this error both before changing the profile line and after it. 
 
 What is your router address? The above is default for many routers but it may 
be set otherwise in   
yours.   
  
 When in Arachne, go to dos prompt, type: tcpinfo 
Will tell you if packet driver is loaded. 
 
 Are you booting straight into dos before starting Arachne or some other 
method?
