No errors, and the drive that I'm writing with was just replaced about two months ago. But I will try cleaning it and see what happens.

Thanks!

Lisa,

It could just be something as simple as a dirty drive. You can buy a floppy drive cleaning kit at most computer and/or office supply stores. I would try one of these before replacing drives. What sounds like has happened is one drive is a little out of alignment. They have read/write heads in them that get dirty and can get worn and then out of alignment. Disks made on them can be read by the same drive, but will not read in other drives.

Are you getting any error messages? If so, what is the message?

When I save a file to a floppy, remove it from the PC and transfer to the PC operating the Amaya's it will not read the data on the floppy. I can pull the information off the floppy on the PC that created it and I know the other floppy drive is reading because I can put in an older file and it comes up. Anyone know what the ailment is?
