Hi Ruth. There are a few different options I use, depending on design
density.
If it's pretty dense, I use 2 layers of two ounce cutaway. I use the
lighter cutaway, because after a dense embroidery design is put on it, it tears
away from the edges. If it's not very dense, Vilene is good stuff. It looks
and acts like cutaway or tear away, but it's a washaway.
