Thanks for summing this up perfectly Ricardo. Also, if people have the
resources to afford iPhones and the accompanying data plans, what's another
dollar on an account somewhere?

Hi,

If this is indeed the case, wouldn't just having $1 on what ever method of
payment your using gain access to all the stuff you said you were being
denied access to? If this is so, I don't see how having $1 on a form of
payment is unreasonable. I figure if this is your last dollar to your name,
you probably have way bigger issues than getting free apps for your iPhone.

JMO.

money in the account for stupid policies like this.

unreasonable. As many have pointed out, if you don't have a credit or debit
card, buy a gift card and set up your account. You can get a gift card for
$10, that's just not that much money. Once you've done that, you can do
whatever upgrading and purchasing of free apps you need to do. I'm sorry,
but I'm blind and I've worked my whole ****** life. Right now I'm working a
job that I hate, but at least it's a job. If you're on a fixed income,
maybe start thinking about how to change that.

be able to get free apps, download apps I already purchased but are not

I have no access to even change the password on the lock screen because the
Apple password is essentially broken until their or is money available.
Buying a gift card to leave money on is essentially the same as requiring a
deposit, a bad move on Apple's part imo.

to complain to Apple about this and I hope many will join me in this. Not
everyone has a credit card and not everyone has available funds all the
