Hi,

I agree; some programs require a little more ingenuity to manage them; it would be very unexciting if everything was Too easy <smile>.

But, I seem to be out of touch with podcasting; please could I have a brief enlightenment and web references.

Thanks,

Cheers,

Mike

Couldn't agree more. It's surprising how many people don't know how
effective a screen-reader's screen review mode can be, such as the jaws
cursor or window-eyes mouse pointer. Even when you cannot get much out of
the application by tabbing around or whatever, these tools can be really
effective.

Hi Steve

I have to agree with you. I think quite often people are very quick to
declare software inaccessible when it isn't, or to blame the screen reader
for not being able to work with software that really is inaccessible.
Some
people like computer training and that's up to them, but from personal
experience I think there are a lot of people who would get far further if
they would only sit and read and listen to the screen reader documentation
properly. Some people just seem to decide that they can't learn to do
things themselves and once they've done that it's very hard to get over
that
mental block.
