Agree John. I can see the need for larger ones, but as you say, the packs should come in your choice of sizes. Hopefully there is an RNIB person on this list with a pen and large sheet of paper.

Hi Barbara, given that I wonder why they're mixing label sizes. OK, they may supply a mixture of sizes with the unit, but Wouldn't it be a good idea for them to keep label sizes separate in additional label packs? By mixing them they're not giving a choice, they're simply limiting the number of useable labels.John.----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Wilson" <barkingbabs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 01, 2009 4:17 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: penfriend labelsHi John Some people because of dexterity might prefer larger labels. Not to generalise, but I expect most elderly people might find the tiny ones difficult. Surely, given that the data is on the penfriend and not the label there's no need for it. The size of the thing you're labeling surely doesn't come into it. It occurs to me that making labels bigger than they need to be would potentially limit the functionality, not increase it. Also why differentshapes. Are the labels thick enough that you can feel what shape they arewhen stuck on something? I also hope that on units subsequent to this first production run that the design faults mentioned in previous posts will be corrected. Am I missing something? John.
