John, Thanks very much for this update. No problem on the timeframe it's always cool to just even know it's being worked on. I agree on the sewing point. If there was absolutely no other choice it's better than nothing, but it's not ideal I'd say for most people. We have had another set of samples through but when I stuck them to various items they all came right off after only one wash which was actually worse than the first lot! Our supplier is working now with a company who are experts in adhesion and remains confident that we'll crack the problem. However we don't have a date for further samples yet. But either me or Alison will let the list know as soon as we have something worth passing to you for testing. For anyone not familiar with this topic, we are trying to develop penfriend labels which can easily be just stuck to clothing so anybody can quickly identify their white from red shirt etc. and yes we know we could have sew on labels but most of us don't sew. So if you don't hear anything from us for a few weeks that willl be because there is nothing new to say. we're all keeping our fingers crossed.
