Hi Wendy,

Is it in services? Some programs are hidden there. Go to the run menu and
type services.msc, and see if it is there. If it is, then press the context
key, and arrow down to stop service. Now you will be able to delete it,
once it is stopped.

All the best

Steve

Not so. Not in system tray or startup, so can't do anything about it. I
don't know what Movie Maker does, and I don't know why the prompt should say
it is being used by another person or program. I have also found another
program called Quicktime, and can't get rid of that either. I think I might
just give up!

Hi Wendy,

It sounds like that program is loaded at startup in services or the startup
program. Have a look in System tray, and see if you can close it from
there.

All the best

Thanks to whoever suggested doing a search and deleting the folders. This
worked fine with Snapfish, but it won't let me get rid of Movie Maker. A
delete error message comes up saying that another person or computer is
using the program. This is rubbish, as I am the only one who uses this
computer.
