Hi Dave As you will see from the email address, I am on NTL through cable. This seems to be such a practical and efficient way to use broadband and is so simple to use. If you are using a BT line with ADSL modem I personally would recommend Tiscali or Virgin. These both seem to offer free modem all the time rather than just on special and there service is easy to install, simple to use, but most importantly is not subject to surf time restrictions. You need to check carefully that such restrictions do not apply when connecting to BB with either BT or Freeserve. Anytime, does not necessarily mean Anytime! Both the providers I mention seem to have a very good record for maintaining the service standard. There is nothing worse than a lack of consistency in the mail servers etc. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Taylor" <dave@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 03, 2004 6:28 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Freeserve broadband questions. > What broadband isp would you recommend then?
