On the whole Jaws doesn't care what ISP you are with, but it will have a
problem if that ISP forces you to use some bespoke software to access their
service like AOL. When looking at ISPs this is the sort of question one
should be asking. Jaws will work right out of the box with Internet
Explorer, Outlook and Outlook Express and a few others besides, however
custom applisations like those ont he BT Yahoo service cause problems.

As competition within the broadband market is to say the least intense there
are other providers whcih provide a more transparant service. Plustnet is
one but there are others too.

BROADBAND ENQUIRYHI Ian:

I know this isn't the cheapest option on the market, but could I please
suggest you check out bt retail Broadband? I have had no problems with

  Hi all,

Having put up with their terrible customer service and lack of proactivity
for too long we're at last in the process of ditching NTL at home.
Consequently we're looking at alternative broadband providers and I wondered
whether there were any which people would highly recommend from a VI point
of view? Alternatively, are there any which should be avoided at all costs?
I remember, for example, that AOL was set to be not very good in terms of
usability/accessibility.

  Cheers now.

  Ian
