Indeed, it is a shame if dbDOS uses the vDosPlus code but does not have any
clear acknowledge of such use. Also, as I said in my previous message vDosPlus
should be free for everyone, and never for profit. However, both dbDOS and vDos
try to make profit in some way, and it is also very clear that Jos does not
want to see any vDosPlus versions online that use his “undisclosed” code and
have no nag screen (or you have to pay for it). As a result, the vDosPlus 2015
version that is 100% open-source and nag-screen free is available for download
from my site such as vdosplus.sourceforge.net. If you want the newer vDosPlus
2017 version but can also live with the nag screen (or pay for it), you can
still download Edward Mendelson’s customized build from his page below:

I also noticed that http://www.vdosplus.org/ is blank. Have you taken it down ;
on purpose? Sourceforge (https://sourceforge.net/projects/vdosplus/files/)
has one version of vDosPlus, namely vDosPlus 2015.11.01 (Build 2017.03.15).
Are other versions available for download somewhere?
