dbDOS was a commercial product designed to run dBase in DOSBox, even though
that guaranteed data loss because DOSBox doesn’t lock files. The latest
version, introduced in the past few days, uses vDosPlus in a more or less
disguised version. It costs $149 to get essentially what the Xy installer
provides free. Somehow I doubt that members of this list will rush to buy it.
