Judy, while on subject of enforcement. How are the dog poop laws
enforced? We are targets again, often.
I seem to recall there are laws against it but no enforcement is possible.
If so, why have the laws???

Cindy,
I’ve looped in our TPD community officer, Erin Peters and liaison Lt
Belinda Morales. I hope with their help, we might see a little more
supervision/patrol at the splash pad in Catalina Park, especially around
opening and closing and after hours.
I will figure out who at Parks and Rec is responsible for making sure the
splash pad and bathrooms are being locked at night and opened in the
morning. We now have a sign posted about the park being closed at dark and
not open until sunrise. The splash pad has more limited hours. TPD can
enforce these hours as well, to help reduce misuse.
I’m sorry your daughter and grandson were scared off this morning.

My daughter and my 3 1/2 year old son went to the park this morning and
rules, right? Based on the trash I’ve been seeing in the morning ( notably
She didn’t want me to report it, but after all, they should obey the
cardboard boxes) I think we need to up enforcement. Thoughts?
