The argument here is also how freedom is interpreted.
I say do anything you want but don’t hurt anyone.
It has become, do whatever you want regardless of others.

I do think that the auto and oil industry lobbied (and brainwashed) this
country to make it auto-centric and that driving is a right. Compared to other
countries, the penalties for traffic violations are very low. It is very hard
to lose a driver's license in the U.S. And that there is no re-test over time
or at a certain age is a problem.
