For the first 3 photos I could have gone with either Pine or Blackpoll Warbler. The fourth photo shows flesh colored feet and a rather long primary projection which pushes me toward Blackpoll, and the fifth photo seems to show streaks on the back and a gray side of neck which would not be present on Pine, but would on Blackpoll. The only thing missing is the lack of any streaks on the underparts. So, Blackpoll is how I would call it. Ryan Brady, Tim Oksuita, and I had an interesting warbler in Ryan's yard this past weekend. We think we know what it is, but it threw us initially, and we thought sharing some shots would be instructive. Here's 5 photos. The fifth one is most revealing, so try to have your guess made before you make it to the last photo. Here's the first shot, just hit 'next' to see the others: http://www.pbase.com/nanich/image/145465749 ; Nick Anich Ashland, WI #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
