At 1:35pm today observed White-winged Crossbills..nice mix of male and
female with count of 84 birds...feeding mainly on the ground underneath
spruce trees. Came back around at 2:50pm and observed many birds on both
sides of road. My first observation of WWC in Winnebago County...west of
Oshkosh.
