Here's an old but timely article from the WI eBird team (specifically authored by Andy P) on separating Orange-crowned and Tennessee Warblers during fall migration. We could probably beef it up a bit with content and images but it will have to do for now. Orange-crowneds are late migrants and extremely rare in the state before at least the second week of September. If you see one before then, do your best to snap a photo! http://ebird.org/content/wi/news/tricky-fall-warblers-orange-crowned-warbler Ryan Brady Washburn, Bayfield County, WI http://www.pbase.com/rbrady #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
