Funny you should mention that. I hesitated to answer Jan's post because
there are so many spots that have been my "favorites" over the years that to
mention them all, I would have to write a book. Oh yeah, Daryl, and many
contributors already did that with "Wisconsin's Favorite Bird Haunts".
Daryl's book is where I found most of my favorites. Trips to places like
Wyalusing and Horicon Marsh seem essential, but depending on weather and the
stage of migration, there are hundreds of wonderful spots to visit. I think
if you use Daniel Schneider's suggestion to use explore data to keep up with
current sightings, coupled with Daryl's book which gives directions to most
good birding areas, you can't go wrong.
