What are breadcrumbs in this context?? I find myself discovering new features in Speedcommander every day as well (more or less). Recommending it is hard not to, especially if we're talking the x64-version and most especially since I actually bought it. 8-) As this is the only file manager I know of that runs natively in a x64-environment you're kinda' set. 8-) Check this one out for a Windows Explorer-lookalike setting for Speedcommander: http://forum.speedproject.de/showthread.php?t=6616 Personally I have SC set so that the right window pane is 75% of the total width, with with a drive-tree (Ctrl-B) and the left pane is a regular drive-view. It's an "almost" Windows Explorer-lookalike. It’s hard to get in the habit of not using Windows Explorer. The explorer2 has often been a bit too hardcore though. I basically want Windows Explorer with a keyboard shortcut for a new folder, tabs, breadcrumbs, and perhaps a few paste-special features. The xplorer2 has a pretty big learning curve! I have 2 days left on my trial, and I probably will buy it. I’d rather have something that has more features than I’ll probably use than not enough. Chances are if I do make the switch and get used to it, I will find myself discovering uses for the features that I think I won’t use today. Of course, I just looked at the Speedcommander program, and it looks kinda nice. I actually found one (Speedcommander) that runs natively under x64-windows. DOwnside is it's payware and quite pricey at that, but I bought it anyway... 8-) There are so few good x64-software out there for windows... I've tried the same file manager but in a 32b windows environment and can only say this one is a lot slower and more sluggish than the x64-version.
