"Supported Operating Systems: Windows Vista Business; Windows Vista Enterprise;
Windows Vista Ultimate"

Now all I have to do is install Vista. :-( Sadly, this is for my work
machine, which is running XP.

But thanks Jim.

Are you certain you got the newest version of Rdesktops from the
Vista/2008 admin tools?

This looks promising. Thanks Mark. You were the only one who
actually understood that I wasn't looking for a protocol replacement here, just
a container for my sessions. :)

I am a fan of VisionApp Remote Desktop:
http://visionapp.com/1683.0.html

It does for RDP sessions what tabbed browsing does for web
pages. You can customize each session, including the port.

Their old version 1.5 was free, and I am still using it. Their
latest is $69.

               Hi group,

I cannot remember the name of some small freeware product that I
used a few years back that was similar to the remote desktops snapin for the
MMC, but better. Any ideas? I just installed the latest (only?) version of
this snapin, and still no support for alternate ports. Weak!

               Thanks
