Can't say, we're still on 2000

That's a bit of an overstatement, though I'd say it happens less when
you know what you're about.

Very true.

| If you've ever run a purely Microsoft machine, you'll see that it is
ridiculously rare that they

Now that I'd have to disagree with, Windows, Internet Explorer and
Office do crash, though admittedly less than they used to (providing you
don't use any of them in a new version before service pack 2)

| I have NEVER seen any software out there that crashes less than

Then you need to get out more, there are ALOT of programs out there more
stable than MS products. IPCOP and qmail for two quick examples.

| and is anywhere even remotely close to being as powerful as
| a comparable Microsoft application.

I'm willing to grant them the featurism crown, but I don't necessarily
consider that a compliment. I feel they have way to much tendency to
try and integrate everything trying to improve useability at the cost of
security and stability.
