winamp volume and software speech

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me out. I've read the Winamp FAQ and have
followed the instructions in it, but for the life of me I can't find a way
to get independent control of the volume of winamp and the volume of my
software speech. I'm using Winamp 5.05 with a SoundBlaster Live sound
card, and JFW 5.0 with eloquence. I know this might be a basic question, but
in my own defence I have read the FAQ, I've acted on the advice there, and
so hopefully no one's going to give me a verbal thrashing for posting an
inappropriate message to the list. Sorry guys, but I've been trying to sort
this out on my own for a day or two now and am getting pretty frustrated by
it. Tracey.
