Hi Chris,
I have never uninstalled a Winamp version. I always install over the
existing version and have had no problems with doing so.
I am using JAWS 7.0 and I am running Winamp version 5.11.2 which is the
latest version.

Hi folks. Ok, i have a couple questions for everybody, especially you
folks who don't see the station info item in your tree view in preferences.
Are you all running version 5.112 as I am?
and if you are running 5.112 and you don't see the station info item, did
you directly upgrade from a previous version i.e. install 5.112 over the
top of a previous version, or did you do a fresh install? What I'm
atempting to do here is try to puzzle out why some of you guys see it and
some of you don't.
This way we can figure this out. This is more of a curiocity thing than
anything else. Now of course if you're still running an older version like
5.08 or something even earlier, don't worry about that, station info isn't
going to be there. I highly, highly doubt it's a screenreader issue. why on
earth would JAWS not see a branch in a tree view on some systems but see it
on others? so we can pretty much eliminate that from the equation.
I'm looking forward to seing what you guys say. let's figure this out.
