Thanks, Chris!  I surmised that, but, "G.E." is not that simple a subject. 
I will close this thread, for now, unless you want to, because it is getting 
a little shopworn; my internet provider went down, last night, or I would 
have asked for an "end to thread", before now!  Thanks to all for the input!

Hi Mac
This is actually quite simple. Robert is more or less right.  The equalizer
*only* effects playback, how you hear a song played. It does not effect
your cd  burning projects.
