Yup, I know there's a way to do what you guys want but I'm not sure how to
do that. I'd sure like to know.

I haven't played around with the equalizer much, but isn't there a way of saving the presets from the equalizer to a file and then retrieving them for individuals songs or albums?

It all depends really. As far as Cd's go, if you're listening to the CD through Winamp, I believe the equalizer probably takes the sound and changes it according to the settings. You really just have to listen to the songs you have and figure out a good setting that works for all of them. It probably won't be perfect, but you can find one that works most times.
