Hi Tony,

Firstly, make sure you copy the address line rather than the name of the
item. Press alt+d to get to the address line.

I attach the instructions below.

Instructions:

1. Open youtube and find your choice of item using the search option.

2. While this item is running press alt +d to bring Jaws to the address
line.

Press ctrl +c to copy this to clipboard.

3. Press windows key and open DVDVideoSoft under Programs. Right arrow into
Programs in here. Right arrow into a list of converters in here. Choose Free
youtube download in here.

4. When this program opens you will be able to tab to various buttons. Tab
to Paste. Press space here and the address in the clipboard will
automatically go into the file edit box.

5. Tab around and you will find a edit box where you can choose where to put
the converted file.

In another box you can specify the format of the converted file.

6. Now tab to the convert button. Press space here and the file will
download and be put into your choice of folder selected in that appropriate
tab box.

It is not necessary to have youtube open for this as the DvdVideoSoft
program will go on the internet itself and download the item.

Job done.

Have fun.

Aedan.

Hi Aedan,

I'm very interested in all that!

I have the programme you mention but after copying the song title I close
YouTube as you say and then open that programme and paste but nothing
happens!

Should I be waiting I wonder as it may be at that point possibly
automatically downloading or what?

There appears to be no edit box.

Do please take me out of my misery as we need a little cheer wishing to
create our own Xmas playlist in MP3.

Thanks

Tony

Hi Jackie,
There is a free youtube to mp3 converter. The site is dvdsoft.comYou can
download the converter here or take down their free suite of a lot of
download programs.
You tab to the address bar when playing the item on youtube and press ctrl c
to copy it to clipboard. You then close youtube and open this other program
called free youtube to mp3 converter. Justt press the paste button and it
will automatically bring down the file in mp3 format. Tab down the buttons
to save the file in a folder that you want.
Regards
Aedan.

Also, if you are in Cork or Dublin city areas, you can pick up Christmas
FM on your radio. (Around 106.7 FM perhaps. If you're a student of
christmas music I've no doubt that this station will help you! There
are quizzes, etc., on it too.
