Here are a few links direct to the url's of RTÉ Digital Radio streams on the Internet. They open in windows media Player, my player of choice. In any case, these streams - like BBC digital stations - *may *not *be *available* to listen to outside of the Republic of ireland. http://dynamic.rte.ie/av/live/radio/radio1extra.asx (Radio 1 Extra) http://dynamic.rte.ie/av/live/radio/0910.asx (RTÉ Choice Radio) http://dynamic.rte.ie/av/live/radio/0102.asx (RTÉ Gold) These stations are also available to listen to from the RTÉ digital radio site. At the moment, these stations (along with the other digital stations from RTÉ), are trial stations only. To open one of the above url's in windows media Player, copy the url, then in alt-tab to Windows media Player and press ctrl-u, then paste in the complete url url and press enter. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Halligan" <tigerone@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 15, 2008 9:46 PM Subject: [vicsireland] internet radio simple guides Blankhi folks some of you might find this simple tutorial useful. will follow up with creating a radio station folder and recording internet radio if anyone is interested. i have not put the file in an attachment but in the body of this mail. regards Paul H tutorial begins Listening to a radio station on the internet I use an internet radio site called http://www.mikesradioworld.com/ Now lets say I want to listen to a radio station in this case I will choose R t e gold in Ireland 1 I open up mikes radio home page by clicking on the link 2 I used insert and f7 for a list of links 3 I arrowed to Europe and pressed enter 4 I pulled up the links again insert and f7 then arrowed to Ireland and pressed enter Jaws says Irish radio stations streaming live on the internet 5 Then I pulled up links again insert and f7 arrowed to r t e gold and one arrow down to 32kbps.
