If you are not getting acceptable results with pub, and I agree that the Victor
Reader devices seem inconsistent in support, I would always go to text rather
than rtf.
The disadvantage is of course losing structured navigation and heading support
but I did not think that was supported anyway?

Am very lost on which format to choose. The most flexible is .rtf, but when I
play the book on my stream, I keep getting the letter r read. It seems to be at
the beginning of each paragraph. When I read the same book in the same format on
my BNT it doesn't read those. I do find a dolar sign t after each dollar sing p
for paragraph. That might be the problems. When I convert to epub and play it
on stream,, the book title is hidden under a label called bookshare. That isn't
the same as the bookshare folder on the stream. By the way,, the epub version
reads fine without the r's on the stream. I have another book reader which
reads the .rtf versions fine. What do I do? Convert each book to .rtf and then
again to epub for reading ony my stream? I did try putting the epubs in the
$vrText and also the $VROther books folders. In both cases, the stream wouldn't
recognize the book. What am I going wrong? How can I get rid of the $t's just
incase that is the problem. It would be a find and replace, but I don't think
writing edt or $t will do it.

All of my devices all read epub. That is why I use that format.

Hi Russ. Love CODEX! I convert every book to txt, mobi, kindle and epub. Never
know when each format might come in handy.
Stay well ... William
