I have an older 5th generation Fire tablet so probably don't have the latest
software updates, but do have a 128 Gb SD card plugged into it. The SD card
contents include a number of my Audible books. There is a setting which I
checked to have audio books downloaded to the SD card.
I also have an Android phone with a 128 Gb SD card and that card also contains
some of my Audible books.
I don't know why some people think you cannot have Audible books on SD cards.
