Victor reader stream would be perfect for that purpose. I don't know what size
card you would need. The stream can take higher than 64 gigs. I don't know
about 600 plus, but you can get a lot of books on that card. The only downside
is that you can't subfolder them, so you won't be able to put them in
categories. Good luck finding the book you want to read, but in the hospital,
time will be about all you have. On Dec 1, 2019 12:14 AM, Jackie McBrearty

Thanks all for your responses.
I don't think my memory card idea is going to work as intended. My aim was to
transfer all my audible audio books onto a memory card so I could access any
of my 692 audio books without needing to use wifi.
I read allot and I might have a long hospital stay next year so wanted access
to my entire library.
I'll keep trucking on.
Plus avoiding the hospital stay would be the preferred option.
Thanks again
Jackie.

I got a fire from him last year. Am also interested in using something

Hopefully a long way down it. On Nov 30, 2019 7:13 PM, Peejay

Lana,
I think he's talking about a flash drive that can be plugged into the
lightening port of the iPhone.
They are all the rage now for external storage, and not that expensive
anymore.
Check out Laz's site, talkingMP3players.com and take a look at what he
offers in Fire tablets.
He goes through the trouble of installing the google play store on them so
you don't have to.
You have to decide whose offering what for less, as with it being the
holiday shopping season amazon may have better deals, although you will
have
to install the google play store yourself.
Either way you go, good Luck,
PJ.

Is that right? Where do I go to find out how, or would the apple support
line help me. I have a card reader, but it connects only using a "USB
plug.
I don't see how you could blue tooth anything that neither sends nor
transmits. Maybe I misunderstood your post. On Nov 30, 2019 7:00 AM, Russ

This doesn't answer all your questions, but it's a start. I have an
iPhone.
I can play bard, audible, bookshare on it and can still play these on my
Stream. The iPhone doesn't allow for SD cards, but maybe your iPod does.
I'm
thinking it will do about everything you are asking about. The one thing
it
won't do is pick up where you left off if you switch from any i device to
your Stream. To repeat, there is no problem having books on more than one
device and playing them on all. The one thing is, your kindle books won't
read on Stream. If your iPod allows for an SD card, you've got it aall
together.
Hope this helps. On Nov 29, 2019 12:23 PM, Jackie McBrearty

Hi All
I'm wanting to purchase a kindle however, i'm struggling to get
questions
answered even from amazon support.
I'm looking for a kindle where I can listen to my audio books. I'm not
looking for prime video or anything like that. My questions are:
1. What kindle would ye advise for accessibility.
2. my plan is to transfer all my audio books onto a memory card, i'm
wondering is this possible.
3. then if possible, I also have an iPod and wondering would having my
library on a memory card effect my books in the cloud.
4. finally, if the memory card idea works does that mean, when on
offline
mode i can play any of my audio books without putting them onto the
device.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give. I've never had a kindle
before, I seen my first kindle today so its all new for me.
yours
Jackie
