Hi Mary. I also have the fire 8 after trialing the fire 7 and I have to say
the sound is beautiful for such a small device. I was quite surprised. I
also find it to be much more responsive too.

I am curious why you got the HD eight instead of the less expensive fire.
Does it sound that much better? I assume that the purchase must have
to do with superior audio. But maybe there something else I'm missing.
