I always wondered this myself Sandy. It sounds like
Met was trained on blended curbs. Honestly I prefer
blended curbs they are so much easier than the
curbcuts that have a bump on them to get over. We have
both kinds where I live now and even areas where there
are no curbcuts despite there being a sidewalk so Met
has to walk me on the shoulder of the road. I really
hate that when traffic is around because they also
park their monster jacked up trucks on the
shoulder...arg
