While walking along the C&O Canal (in Bethesda) last spring, we came across several (at least 3) black vultures feasting on a downed deer.

Hi List,
All throughout Central and South America Black Vultures are city birds.
They love dumps and anything organic that humans discard. They will show up
anywhere within their range where there is a pile of putrefied flesh.
