On my way to a meeting on the Eastern Shore I stopped to scan the 1st
Island of the Bay-Bridge Tunnel. I was only able to scan the Eastern
side of the island but boy was it worth it!
2 HARLEQUIN DUCKS
6 LONG-TAILED DUCKS
7 HORNED GREBES
4 PURPLE SANDPIPER
2 BRANT
10 RED-NECKED MERGANSER
These in addition to 12 RUDDY TURNSTONES and numerous Gulls and
Cormorants that I didn't have time to scan through. Suffice it to say
that I was very nearly late for the meeting.
