Larry is absolutely correct. While it may appear that we (citizens and
taxpayers) are helpless against them (unelected public bureaucrats), we should
exercise every avenue to let our ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES know that lack of
common sense does not promote national security. If anyone thinks that this
crackdown is anything more than a box checking exercise you either working in
the
government (and are one of them) or have never been exposed to that
environment. If someone would explain why security on the CBBT has to be more
stringent than at Dulles Airport or most military bases, I'm sure many birders
might
be more sympathetic to the restrictions. I also don't understand why
"scientists and researchers" are afforded special privileges...do they pay
more
taxes ?
