I will exchange mine tomorrow.  I guess it was a 50/50 chance when picking it 
up.  I saw them both but couldnt tell any difference other than the box.

Well, I discovered that the ones in the plastic case have the
composite, component, and svideo input…

J  the boxed one does not…

 

So I went and exchanged my boxed version with the plastic case
version…

And now I have the component, svideo, and composite inputs…
