Just to let you know Kentucky is keeping records of moths. We have several
experts in our state. Kentucky has over 2500 species of moths recorded in
the state excluding butterflies. Dr. Charles Covell was a teacher at the
University of Louisville who wrote the Peterson Field Guide to Eastern Moths
and has contribute greatly to the study of moths in our state.
