Standifer Gap Marsh, Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN
November 7, 2004
(with David Holly and 4 others, unfortunately I lost my list with their names.)
Ring-necked Duck, 1 male & 1 female
Gadwall, 50
RUDDY DUCK, 1 female

Virginia Rail, 5, vocal
Sora, 1

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, 1

Marsh Wren, 4, easily seen along gravel road past 2 weeks
Sedge Wren,  0, spent some time looking around south end

Common Yellowthroat



At (Patterson) Home, Houston Lane, just south of Collegedale,
all of these most days last two weeks

Pine Warbler, 1
Red-breasted Nuthatch, 1, (always plenty of Brown-headed and White-breasted)
Purple Finch, 1 female
Pine Siskin, 3
