TN-Birders,
Today was another great day for counting Sandhill Cranes. Over 4000 in some
29 circling and veeing flocks flew over northern Putnam County between 11:10
and 12. What a joyful tootling sound and beautiful sight! There were many
more moving beyond the trees that I couldn't see. All were flying
northward.
