[TN-Bird] Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge

I counted 17 blue-winged and 2
green-winged teal at the Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge in Meigs County at Birchwood
yesterday afternoon. Two to three dozen pectoral sandpipers were also seen, as
well as an immature bald eagle. I heard at least two brown-headed nuthatches. A
photographer said that he had seen and photographed over 100 American white
pelicans at HWR on Saturday, March 26.
