Hello,

Two controllers per zone, however, the do NOT need to be physical machines.
 I would make them virtual machines along with all other platform type
services (SQL, EdgeSight, Licensing, Web Interface/StoreFront, App-V, etc)

Also, in your case, I may only do one zone given the bandwidth between
sites.  One set of resource per site (one dedicated ZDC VM per site).
 Worker Groups and preferences can be used to control traffic to each site.
