The big variable in what you said below is the fact that each ministry will have uniquely configured servers. This potentially can drive up the support levels required signficantly. If you could standardize the whole farm then it might be conceivable to support the farm with 2 or 3 knowledgeable people. However, if every 2-5 servers are different than you could need many more to support it effectively. Steve Greenberg Thin Client Computing 34522 N. We are in the process of setting up a service for the provincial government here. It looks like we may end up with 100 or more blades with w2k3 server and CMFPSv3 on them. We will have 2-4or5 servers per ministry. Each set will have different configurations to meet the needs of the specific ministry. Office 2003, acrobat reader and a few other apps are standard. Users are all over the province. We will not be managing the network. Just the servers and the client side (pc/tc). Anyone have some idea of the number of support staff that might be required for this type of environment? We are starting with 2 + one supervisor.
