No one can tell me what this 16 bit app. that we have trouble with is
written in. It just doesn't show. Better yet, when minimized, it appears
as a minimized taskbar type button, above the start button.

There's some issue with Delphi programs that stops their icon appearing on
the taskbar. I've never been able to get to the bottom of it so if my apps
need to make themselves known they put an icon in the system tray by the
clock.

Some task bar apps will no show icon under Citrix. This is considered a flaw
with their implementation, since it can be fixed within original code (I had
this issue with one of my apps as well). Should they blame Citrix? Not sure.
Anything can be done about existing apps? Probably not (without code
change).
