Hi Thomas,

The profile wizard checks to see if any office products (eg outlook.exe,
excel.exe, winword.exe etc) are running. If they are then the wizard fails.

On NT 4 TSE we found tht it would at times see executables running in
another users session and fail. Had the same thing with admins in
win2k/win2k3.

The "fix" was to use a hex editor (in my case Ultra edit32), find the office
applications list, and change the executable names, eg outlook.exe to
outl00k.exe. After that the wizard ran flawlwssly.

Rick

Rick,

What do you mean by flakley? What possible issues might arise with the
Profile wizard?

Regards,
Thomas
