LaunchIT won't solve this because outlook.exe remains running, which is launchit's clue to close the rest down. MAPISP32 is likely the problem. Investigate why it is staying open, keeping outlook.exe from closing. But we had an expert consultant come to site to try and fix this for us. We have a clean server running Windows 2003. He said that we had messed up the custom install thingy that you need to use when installing office 2000. We have the latest service pack installed (I think). But somehow still have the problem. We have cancelled the project until we can get it working correctly, but it would appear that there is a lot to look at to get it working. ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul <mailto:TaylorP@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Taylor To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 26, 2004 2:57 PM Subject: [THIN] Outlook 2000 Published App not closing Hi guys I've published Outlook 2000 on my Citrix farm which, when launched, functions perfectly well. However, I'm unable to exit the session by choosing File - Exit from the Outlook menu. Once I do that it closes Outlook but returns me to the default blue Desktop background. The session is still showing as active in CMC. If I disconnect (click X on the CIA session box), and then reconnect it returns me to the blue desktop background. I've tried using Launchit to launch Outlook, but the problem remains. Any ideas?
