SP1 yes, post SP1 no. Then again, I'm used to SP1 being slipstreamed in the OS installation. I've run into issues where certain applications would not install correctly if the MS hotfixes were installed before the applications were installed. After changing the order of installation, the problems went away. For instance, if you already have HRP1 installed and you then install Win2k3 SP1 you are much better off reinstalling HRP1. Doing this prevents issues that I've seen crop up.
