I'd recommend that you wait until Exchange 2003 is released some time this year (plan for an upgrade first half of 2004) and upgrade the servers to Windows 2003. This will have you current until the next release which is not due out until 2006. You should be able to do the Migration in a fairly short time. Within a week or so. There are some really great improvements with Exchange 2003. OWA is much better for one.
