In the US a gallon is 128 fl ozs... That's 8 pints at 16 ozs each...
Although if you're a mug club member at Rock Bottom, you can get a 22 ozs
mug of beer vs the 16 ozs the other patrons get.

also there is now use doing gallon comparisons between the US and the
UK our gallons are bigger. we have 8 pints to a gallon not 7 and our
pints are 20 fl oz not 16.
